I was at a customer's house yesterday, and he had a carboy of wine sitting in the kitchen. I started grilling him about what wine he makes, etc... and told him I brew beer. I mentioned that I am only using a plastic bucket now, but would like to experiment with a carboy as a secondary, and start using one as a primary. He then told me he had aout 12 sitting in his basement he had no use for! He went and grabbed me a 6 or 7 gallon carboy that just needs some scrubbing to be good as new!

Awesome score of a free carboy. I have always found that people in this hobby are very friendly and helpful.

Nice!I'd make sure to take him a six pack or two of your finished beer as a thank you gift.

Nice Score. That is one piece of brew equipment I fear to replace these days. They are so expensive anymore. Hope it serves you well.

Nice score. The best score I had was, I went to the recycling center and there were 2, 6 gallon glass carboys in the glass bin. They got recycled alright!
