Hi, I have 60 lbs of Ripe tomatos and made all my sauce for the year. Its Wine or mead for these guys. I have never tried to make it before so this is first time ever happen. I remember my father made some and the ones that did not explode were to die for. Better then champagne. They were aged about 3 years before I tasted them. I'm sure it was a simple recipe as I dont remember lots of commone today wine making ingrendents. late 1960's era. I could use Jack kellers wine recipe and sub honey for the sugar, but Something proven would be nice.

So my big question isDoes anyone have a Tomato Mead recipe?

Don't let me discourage you but the thought of tomatoes and honey together does nothing for me. I realize the fermented beverage won't exactly be tomatoes and honey but some of those flavors are going to be there.
