I've got 3 weeks.

Pale Malt

Munich

Caramel Munich 20

Magnum

Motueka

Motueka

1056/68*

Thoughts. What else?

What are you planning for the hop bill?  I assume Magnum at 60 but what about the Motueka?  10 and 0?

I like to lighten my hoppy beers up in the summer so I swap out the pale malt with Pils, maybe something you want to think about.

I am actually in an experiment where I am trying to push out a 9 day beer.  See what happens.

I'm not opposed to using Pils. I actually thought about that. It might even be better if I used Pils and 1056 colder. I've got a great pitch so I can see maybe 62-65* to make it a little cleaner too. I was also thinking about that same hop schedule, maybe even a 15,10,whirlpool. 1:1 at 1.050.  I'm brewing this today.

Blonde Ale.

Yeah, pretty much.

Sounds good.  I tend to start my American Ale beers at 62-63 so I can see starting this lower and ramping up after a couple of days.  Let me also make one other suggestion, Vienna instead of the Munich.

I like the 15-10-whirlpool and depending on the size of the charge at 15 I may skip a bitterning addition altogether.

I don't have Vienna otherwise I would. I was planning to be light handed with the Munich anyways.

Thanks. Decided MFJ needed a lighter beer from me in the lineup last night.

I've done something like this before and everybody loved it so much I didn't have any leftovers for myself.

I am sure.  these light, hoppy beers are crowd pleasers.

I also assume this will be mashed low?  maybe 149/150 range?
