Thanks Ken, I'm ready to try another lager yeast. With liquids, you def make starters right? 2L? 3?

Even with lagers I just do a 1L shaken not stirred starter with no issues.

Yep. 2L starters with about 7 ounces of DME is what I have been doing with liquid lager yeast. I do not bump them up... I get them active and either pitch the entire thing or I decant some of it and pitch the rest. I'm squeamish about throwing active yeast cells down the drain so I only decant when the yeast has peaked and then dropped... but I don't really want to pitch at that point... I want to pitch when it's rocking.

So is Photobucket having an issue? That pic is not coming up and now Brother Poptop's lager from page 47 is not coming up either. All of the other pics come up. When I try it on my phone... same thing. Weird or what?

Yeah, it's weird. Neddles pics, Drez's pics and my pics come up. Going back a few pages there are shots by badogg, stain, Morty and your Hoppy Blonde on page 45 comes up too. Just not the latest by Poptop and you. Weirdness and I blame North Korea.

Well, I don't have a Photobucket account so maybe they're changing something. The Vienna on the prior page and B2000's beer from this page do not display for me even when I take the URL to a new window and paste it. I just checked on my phone and now Poptop's lager is there but B2000's pic from this page is not there. It's an imperfect world.

Most of mine are thru TinyPic. Right-click on one of mine, go to properties and check out the URL... some may be another app but most should be TinyPic.

Thanks Ken. Oddly enough I get a warning of malware at tinypic too. Lot's of pop ups just like photobucket....

I actually had my Malware app pop up on me this morning. I thought it was just prompting me to update the database but it happened a couple of times so maybe the hosting sites have all been attacked by WanaCry.

Okay now everything is working. It's been a weird day in terms of the web, connectivity and things just wanting to act strangely. I had two different customers whose remote access have been solid forever both act wonky today. I had weirdness here with these external links and my malware app was getting fidgety too but it scanned without finding anything. I think it's time for beer. Cheers kids and nice-looking beer B2000!
