How much time and how many beers do they give you? I shoot for 7 min. per beer.

I did a tasting retake a few years back to see if I could get to Master..only needed 2 points. There was one beer that I described as a German pils, right down to (what I thought) was a great yeast aroma. Turned out it was a skunked Corona....I did not get my 2 points.

A little...mainly I felt like an idiot. I'm not sure if I'll try again or not. It would be nice to be Master, but I don't know if that's enough incentive to try again.

in one of his books, Charlie Papazian slipped Olde English 800 into a blind tasting

I think it's easy to trick yourself into trying too hard and finding things in the beer that aren't there.

Every sheet effects your score.Don't beat yourself up. They won't count the last beer. My buddy had a whole blank sheet and scored 79.

Don't sweat it. You've judged beer before and know what you're doing.
