... I'm divorcing my wife and moving into an apartment large enough to house THIS.
Okay, that's it.

First - good choice, an apartment will not need a lawnmower
Second - can I visit!

So get the whole shebang and only install a shelf or two so you can keep yeast or starters or whatever and then forget the other shelves so you can make more room for kegs. It says it holds "4 kegs" which might be ½ barrels or something. I bet you could easily get 10 cornies in there or more depending on how much room the shelves take. Also, the description says that the "cooling system" is designed to keep the temp at 32° which would not be good. I assume you can adjust it somehow. That monkey fighter would look REALLY good in my basement!

what's the advantage to having a walkin versus having something like this: https://www.kegworks...ator-421-p21363
if this will fit 3 1/2 barrel kegs I bet you could get 9ish cornies in there.

Easy. The walk-in is bigger. It's like Spinal Tap turning it up to 11.what's the advantage to having a walkin versus having something like this: https://www.kegworks...ator-421-p21363 if this will fit 3 1/2 barrel kegs I bet you could get 9ish cornies in there.

seems like you are cooling a bunch of air, increased surface area for heat to leak in as well.

The walk in would be way more useful than that keg fridge.

Is it humidity controlled too? I'm thinking charcuterie.

Seriously. I don't remember telling everyone to put their 'practical' hat on. Plus, imagine having that walk-in in your basement and when your friends come over you can say, You're standing in its presence!Stop thinking practical!! No way you could sleep in the one you posted.

I'm thinking that Rich is of the mind that you could put ANYTHING in there. If you were having a party you could have food in there, any kind of overflow where the regular fridge wasn't big enough. Hops, yeast, slurries, bottles that you put together and want to keep cold... it's 11!for what?

Yup. I have a 2 door commercial fridge in the garage for keg storage, plus a full size lagering fridge, and a home made big ass ferm chamber. Bigger is better. You'll brew more, you'll drink more, you'll bask in your own beer glory.
I would kick a nun for a walk in cooler with all the humidification controls and multi taps.

Ken, for $7k you could probably build your own to suit with staged zones for multiple temperatures for storage, fermenting, starters, and what not.
