Any interest in setting up a Brews-Bros hangout on Google? I use it for Ingress and it comes in pretty handy. If you have a question, you could post it to the hangout and everyone would be notified immediately on their phone/gmail. You wouldn't have to wait for someone to log in to get an answer. It also would serve as a chatroom.

Not opposed, but that kind of dilutes the knowledge base. One thing I like about this forum is that I can come back to one place and look something up that I know was discussed here before.  Plus, while there are many other brewing forums and collections on the webs, I consider this one by far the best and most informed.  I might be a little biased though.

I understand. I was thinking along the lines of you are about to or in the middle of brewing and something came up that required an answer sooner than later.

I'd be interested in having that kind of thing available. I've posted from brew day a few times with questions. If there was a way to automatically transpose the threads from the hangout onto the forum here after there hasn't been a post for an hour, that would be neat.

Okay, so just adding that account to your circles isn't going to work. I need the email addresses sent to chat@brews-bros.xyz to be able to add everyone to the chat. Those added already had unique enough names for me to search that way, and match their avatar to their + page.

If they are part of your circles, you can open the hangout and directly add them.
