My wife is going to a concert with her friends on Saturday so I'm making a beer that I envisioned in my sleep. Seriously, I did. I have Wyeast 2005 Mexican Lager yeast running at the moment and I envisioned a sort of "Autumn Lager".Otoño Lager7 lbs Best Malz Pilsner2 lbs Best Malz Munich 10°L5 ounces CaraBohemian (71 to 78L)1 ounce Spalt 3.2% as a FWH1 ounce Mt. Hood 5.5% for 60 minsWyeast 2005 Mexican Lager yeastOG: 1.053, FG: 1.012, SRM: 7, IBU: 30, ABV: 5.2%100% filtered tap water with a balanced profile, 60-minute single infusion mash at 150°. It should be a pale amber color with decent bitterness but a smooth finish. I haven't used this CaraBohemian before so looking forward to trying it. A late-Saturday-afternoon-into-early-evening brewday. What's everybody else brewing this weekend!? Cheers Peeps.

I brewed a pils last night, kegged a pale ale and racked a pale ale to secondary chill and get gelled.  All of this after dinner last night.

I brewed yesterday.  Version 1 of what I';m calling an "American Mild".  I'm guessing that it will take 3-6 brews to really nail down the recipe.

I have the yeast ready to do a more traditional mild.  I only hope now I find time.

And keep in mind that this is only version one of what I expect to be 3-6 test batches before I settle on a recipe.

Keep us posted on how this goes.  I'm very interested.  All hop additions in the last 20 min should be interesting.

I did something simialr to a beer I have on tap now.  I mash hopped ( ) and then did not add any hops till 10 minutes left in the boil.  Came out very nice I feel.
