How else would you make a half-and-half?

In my day, a Black and Tan was a Guinness and Bass, because that was what the British occupying force was called in Ireland, due to the color of their uniforms. A Half and Half was all Irish. At least that's what you'd get if you ordered one at a proper Irish bar in Boston. Either that, or a black eye. I haven't seen Harp on tap for years, though.
