Hi All, no chemistry here just a silly question about water 10 gallons I have that I did not use this weekend unfortunately. Split into two fermenters, if I cap with a little Saran will this water be good for a cpl weeks until my next brew session? Or will it be better for tadpoles? Not a big guy to dump

I have to think it would be fine if you keep it covered.

I put a campden tab in my water for chlorine/chloramines.  I'm not sure if this does anything to make the water more stable as well but if you do that I'd feel even betterererer about it.  but all the same - you are going to kill anything in that water by the time you've heated it for mashing and then boiled it in your kettle.

Keep it out of the light too. A couple weeks is definitely enough to get algae if it is in the light.
