Was able to participate in an OctobPRfest in Port Royal Friday.  Homebrewers kicked their kegs. commercial guys.....NO.

Served a Toasted Coconut Stout that was well received, (chick beer!)

Awesome job. I've noticed that at big fests around here the homebrewers always get hit hardest. That may be because all the homebrewers attending want to try all the other homebrew.

I used to serve at one and the homebrew always got the most attention but it was not only form other brewers.  I just think it is the combination of fresh beer and interesting ingredients/styles that the commercial brewers just cannot do. Seems like every festival we have around here now has a homebrew section.
