It's been about 3 years or so since the last time I brewed. Going to start with extract at first, probably not much has changed there. I figure I'll need a kettle, a couple buckets and a keg to start out. Gimme a gear rundown so I can start making my shopping list. I'm going to road trip to the LHBS Saturday.

Siphon/hose, CO2 to go with that keg, sanitizer, hydrometer to name a few.

Go get a turkey fryer and go straight to full boils.

Oh yeah and this too.

Come to think if it, i ran across my bottle capper the other day so I might just forego the keg and fill bombers instead. Don't really have a beer fridge to condition kegs in anyway but I have a couple empty closets...

Looks like I'm going to bottle for now (bombers). I sold my kegs and kegerator a couple years ago. Going to take me a minute to regain legging gear...

Worst thread title EVER.

ETA:  I really want to start brewing again but it's been so busy lately.  I may also consider a extract batch just to get the juices flowing again.  The hurdle is more about the time to get all the brewing stuff back in order than the actual brewing time.

I did BIAB earlier this year.  A couple of batches.  I wasn't crazy about the results.

Curious about this too. I have done a couple bathes and the results have been good.  I did buy a real BIAB bag and not a paint strainer so that may be part of the difference.  Plan on doing a BIAB bitter this weekend.

why are you doing BIAB?  You have all of the equipment to sparge if you want to.
