So I am having some fellow beer lovers over to open some sours from Cantillon, Russian River, Cascade etc this weekend and I am trying to think of what food would go well.  I like how sour beers really clean your pallet so i was thinking of some BBQ'd wings done a couple different ways some bread but I am drawing a blank at what else.  Any idea?

Artisan cheeses and charcuterie plate.

This is what we do with our sour tastings. We also have 2-3 different soups. To me wing sauce would be to forward on flavors and could mask the beer.

Yeah,I know nothing about that stuff. Maybe I can see if someone else wants to bring food seeing I am supplying the beers.

You want something rich, oily and fatty, like double cream cheeses, lardo and high fat salumi, rich chocolates and such. The acid pairs well with the fat in those foods.

Thinking about it more this makes sense. Guess I will head to the specialty beer store, they gave a nice area with meats, cheese and olives to see what I can find.
