My Chinook Black IPA came out really well but it could use more hop punch/complexity. Any thoughts on Chinook/Simcoe with a bit of Citra in the finish?

I know Chinook and Citra work real well together.  To me they almost mimic Simcoe so I think this recipe should work out good.

Looks like you're reusing the same grist as your last rendition. Guess you have that part nailed down how you like. Can't comment on the exact combination of hops but all three are hops I have enjoyed in other pairings. Please update like you did your first go 'round with this recipe.

I'm really pleased with the grain bill. I'll keep you posted on the evolving hop profile. It may be a few weeks before I can brew it.

Did you ever get around to this second rendition? How did it come out?

What does the flaked barley offer here?  If it's body, would you be safe subbing Carapils? It's about half the flaked barley I use in a Dry Stout so I question whether or not you get a ton from only a pound.

In recipes like this I use fb for a body builder. I have found 3/4-1 gives me what I want in terms of mouthful. I see no reason you couldn't sub carapils for it.
