wife is going to San Diego for a conference next week and I'm trying to find good beer bars for her and her British coworkers to have a few pints at.

any ideas?

does Stone have a brewpub in San Diego?

they will primarily be based out of the GasLamp district

We loved Downtown Johnny Browns.   Actually we started at the Yard House (or whatever it was called) and the bartended said try a place next door called 'The Other'. We went there and they referred us toe Johnnie Browns.  There is also a Gordon Biersch right there as well. I don't think you can pick a bad place from what I remember (5 years ago)

are Pizza Port and Stone Brewing Bistro worth sending them to?

the Brits she will be with are amazed by american craft beer and that the fact you can walk into any decent pub and get anywhere between 5-10 different IPA's on tap at any time
