Yep that's right, I was voted Vice President of our brewing club. Now I get a key to the executive bathroom.

This is a stepping stone. Learn what you can while conducting business on the board. My guess is you'll be the next president in a year or so.

I enjoyed being president. It was a lot of fun, but after two years I was getting burned out from it. Probably wasn't performing my duties as well as I should have so I stepped down a few months ago. Seems to have worked. There's starting to be some new interest in the club.

Best advice is don't let things get stale and you don't have to do every damn festival or event that's out there. Big reason why I burned out right there.
