-7dF with a -22dF wind chill and I'm getting set up. Sounds like a perfect Northern MN winter brew day.... I'm changing the name of this brew to Bitter Ass Cold Bitter.  Good thing for the torpedo heater and an insulated garage.  I'll pop one of the garage doors open about 1/3 of the way vent.

70dF, Sunny, & I'm in shorts heating water

Wow, quite a weather buffet right there. It's supposed to be near 50° again here today. I have brewed in both of those conditions and I'll take RBG's weather anyday! Enjoy your brewdays everybody.

I'm drinking a 2-Hearted Ale clone I brewed w/ US-05.  'Tis quite nice.

That said, I've heard 1272 is the yeast Bell's uses in 2-Hearted.  I can't swear to that, so take that with a big grain of salt.

As drez said, give the 1272 a try and see how you like it.

I went with the 1272. Chilling was quick today, and i beat the rain/mist by an hour and a half. :frank:

I bottled 192 bottles of Kolsch yesterday. Going to give most of it out as wedding favors. Some will go to competition, some to friends. Turned out great. I'm very happy with it. Should be winning medals very soon.

Cheers.

I'm brewing a weizenbock. Run off was slow, 65% wheat and no rice hulls. On the plus side, I hit my planned 75% efficiency on a 1.080 beer.
